ParticipantThe wires have broken off the thermistor plug on this machine. Its the thermistor that sits in the tub to condenser connecting hose.
Can you get a new plug of do you have to buy the loom complete also is there a tool available for fitting the wires back in the plug?
Will have go at refitting old plug, but looks a fiddle.
Also what is the best way of cleaning the condenser assy out, looks a difficult job compared to previous models 😥Thanks

Cut the plug off and connect spade tags (amp tags) instead. Do make sure you release the cable tie that holds those orange wires to tightly on the loom to afford them more freedom when the drum vibrates about. Otherwise they may break again a some stage! 😉
Incidentally you can re-use that plug if you wish but I recommend the above method as being far more reliable. 8)

You can`t fix spade connectors any more as they have changed to those little micro connector you now see on some inlet valve coils etc
The old the thermistor Prt no was 3792171013 the new Prt no with the micro connector is 3792171104. I am sure they are the same except the connector as I notice they are still using the same large thermistor that sits on top of the dryer assy nearest the chimney Prt no 3792111415.
This dryer looks a real short term job as the drum is sealed and no longer has a split cabinet with no easy access to cleaning out the condenser assy 😥Thanks

1324405-11/5 is the harness to both thermistors.

Not sure what you mean by both thermistors?

One harness feeds (top) front thermistor and (lower) duct thermistor. Basically, four bits of cable, one plug at one end and two separate ones at the other.
