Hi called out to the above dishwasher today, customer complaing no heat although m/c completes cycle. Checked heate with meter and supply voltage ok. Checked wiring continuity ok. I reckon on PCB as there is nothing between pcb and heater (stat). But a second opininon would be appreciated Cheers Paul.

    Hi Paul

Check PCB for dry joints on heater supply may look o.k but worth running your iron over just to be sure

    Hi
I was at one of these machines this week, the customer had ignored a slight burning smell for the last month or so. The pcb and edge connectors are now badly burnt. I have ordered the pcb but Zanussi are telling me that the edge connectors are not available and I will have to buy a wiring loom 🙁 Anyone know Different?

    Cheers

But in the real world yes do use a soldering iron for a perfectly acceptable and reliable repair 😉
