thanks martin hope your right , when the lady explained the fault it sounded like the machine briefly did something then stopped , so i discounted the door lock possibility,

most common fault on these are the drain pump, after locking the door should go into drain, if pump goes down to earth will blow board.

thanks Cab, board has blown suspected door lock but will check pump , customer went for new machine
