    zann td tc7114w 916092503 00

fitted clcling thermostat to this machine dec 09

called back to it same fault again may 10

just been called back again stat gone again

according to tech info this stat had 2 sides to it

side 1 82 degrees cycling stat
side 2 110 degrees safety stat

it seems to me the temp inside the machine must get too hot but how can it do this if stat 1 cuts out at 82

anyone had these blow and found an answer

all condensor and airways clear, heater looks ok no damage or elements touching

ive noticed after about 5-6 years the cup type fans can wear the D-shape hole into a round hole and because they then are only held onto the motor spindle loosely by the nut, they slip round and dont work as efficiently or powerfully as they should

I assume this could mean it wont circulate the air thru the drum as quickly as machine expects it to, and therefore may cause the internal drum temp to overheat.

or similarly (personally cant say ive ever had a cap’ go on a lux-owned dryer unless its a crosslee based one) as its a solid door dryer its not as convenient to notice the drum turn, so entirely feasible the belt could easily have gone, or the support roller is squared off and jamming. but in theory this should still allow the impellers to circulate the air unless they are staying still and the spindle is turning merrily around…
