    Re: zannusi error code E90

Snuggles E90 is a PCB problem. It is either a communications breakdown between the two pcb’s or a software/configuration error. Either way it’s best not get involved unless you are an engineer with the facility to get hold of the configuration information for these machines.

If you need an engineer’s help, post you’re postcode area here and someone should be able to help you further who is local to you.

    Hope this helps.

    Dave.

    Re: zannusi error code E90

Glad I read this one. I’ve to see one of these machines this week giving error codes E20, E40 and E90. The configuration code is on the main pcb label. I have the information for configuring these but as it’s rather long winded (several pages) I’d have to send a copy.

    Re: zannusi error code E90

I had an E90 error code (intermittent) and the engineer replaced the communications wires (5 blue wires with a plug on each end) apparently not an uncommon fault.

    Re: zannusi error code E90

It’s a good theory. What has most likely happened is that by removing and replacing the connectors the contact surface has had any oxidisation scraped off, thus allowing a better contact.

Expensive electronic circuitry would use gold plating, which does not oxidise in the first place.
