    Hi folks

Been to this today – m/c not starting or starts for 10sec with pump and shuts down.

Put in diagnostic mode and comes up with a Ed4 fault when you go thru the component tests and C24 on last fault recorded test.

Ed4 looks like wiring, t/dry pcb or main pcb altho manual lists it as ED4

Wiring looks ok – put on t/dry and worked ok and manged to get the odd fill and pump out on the odd program but nothing consitant.

Suspect main PCB unless anyone can shed any more light on this.

Is a C fault a configeration fault? – Nothing listed on Distripart manual for this.

    Thanks

    Mick

As pup says, this is common fault on all Lux now. Where’ve you been, not to know that? 😆
Dryer heater (apparently can also be wash heater in some instances), drops below 40Mohm ins. res. and electronics refuse to play. Check wattage of dryer ele as there are two versions 700+700 or 1000+1000 IIRC.

Yep Dryer heater gotta be first port of call, if theres a thermistor at bottom of condensor assy wires break to them aswell.

Give the old mech timers anyday over all this electronic fandango stuff!

Going back to day and have another look

    Thanks
