Hi, a family member has a washing machine problem..
its an older zannussi progress 1400. it gets so far into the cycle and then stops, it does fill with water and spins. turn machine off then back on and select drain and it drains like it should. ive removed the filter at the bottom, was a 5p in there, seen worse
looking for ideas, i know the brushes have been replaced maybe once or twice over the years. i havnt checked them for her. she things the water isnt getting hot, boil wash and going on touch of the glass door. tried different cycles, no difference.
It’s not displaying a error code this time. She says it happens 5 mind into, she thinks it’s when it’s supposed to heat water to temp

does the motor move ?
if it is a heat problem does it work ok on a rinse programme ?
have you got the model number so i can know which system your talking about

yes it fills with water
this is how she describled the rinse cycle: It went to 18 mins from 24. Which took about 20 mins…. Then it jumped back to 25 mins.. Paused itself with light flashing
zanussi progress 1400 Zwf 1431 s i can go down and try find a tag with model number is that isnt anygood.
am interested in the flashing
faults on this model are indicated by flashing lights. look to see if there is a sequence to the flashing
look at the start button and also the programme end lightDave
First time we’ve noticed it, it normally gives a error code for brushes and there was something else. I’ll try get a look at the lights. It’s and old machine, I couldn’t see it when searched the model. Thanks
