    Zannussi WJD1257W. Original fault code E90, fitted new programme module. Now rinse light flashes and buzzes and unable to configurer. Have I got a new faulty module? Have also changed display module, no difference to either module faults. Checked all connections.
    As I have two different faults, I suspect new module is faulty. Have you come across this problem? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. ❓

    I have had one new PCB that was faulty, pretty similar symptoms, unable to configure, no test more etc.

    The only sure way is try another one I guess 🙁

    Put the old module back in then go into fault system to check the fault code and it should give you E91,E92 etc. Have found in the past that if there is a fault on the machine it will not let you configure a new board. Have had a few problems with the small ribbon cable between the two boards, it would be worth while trying a new one of those in if you have one.

    E91 – remove fascia & unplug blue ribbon cable from display pcb.
    carefully bend the pins of the ribbon connector back towards the centre of the plug, re attatch to the display pcb & refit fascia, shouldnt need any new parts if its E91 in the memory, its also worth clearing the machine fault memory.

    THANKS FOR THE INFORMATION, ITS NOT THE RIBBON,CUSTOMER HAS DECIDED TO GET A NEW MACHINE, SO I CAN TAKE MY TIME, GO BACK TO IT WHEN I HAVE TIME,3YEARS OLD, A GOOD RECON 🙄

    NOT YET. I HAVE BEEN OUT OF ACTION FOR A COUPLE OF WEEKS, WAS STACKING MACHINES DONE MY BACK IN,ITS GOOD ITS BEEN QUIET, AND MY SON WORKS WITH ME.I WILL CHECK IT AGAIN, IF IT IS A FAULTY NEW MODULE MY ONLY OPTION IS ORDER A NEW ONE 😕
