    Have searched for fault codes without success – anyone know what 5 flashes means.

    Error codes for this model (has EMW1000 module by the way) are indicated by the ‘End of cycle’ and ‘Start/pause’ LED’s flashing. When you say it’s flashing 5 times, what is? If you refer to the ‘End of cycle’ then that would mean in the E5? group. And generally that refers to Motor problems.

    Thanks Martin – I have found the service manual but it just seems to be the end of cycle light that flashes.will check on Monday – poss brushes.
