choose any programme, door locks, wash neon comes on, drain pump runs… no water in, no drum movement..just drain pump… w/m not too old, need answe/fix asap as customer has terminal cancer and husband is her carer…
help please

Strange looking pressure switch faulty/ blocked?
Or, long shot, (rare) short (not open)circuit valve solenoid?

I’ll e-mail you in more detail, but its likely that machine has’nt emptied all the water from previous wash. Pull out machine, tip back, open filter check for blockage and that impeller is free, failing this check sump hose, drain hose etc. On start up machine runs to get rid of any water, it won’t fill if water is shown still in machine.

seamy, just got back from the zanussi, checked drain pump…ok, checked blockage in drain hose…ok, checked sump hose from tub to drain pump…bingo…plastic bag and curtain hooks…reset machine…customer has done one wash and all seems to be ok…hewill do a londer wash and let me know, then i will post …
