Hi there, we have a Zanussi ZWF 1220S machine which is working intermittently at the moment. Some times the control panels lights are lighting and the machine is starting but then it’s going off and won’t do anything. Managed to get it on to a spin cycle as had a wash still in it which stopped mid way through, but it wouldn’t complete the spin and went off.Any suggestions to what the fault may be? thank you

Firstly check that the plug and wall socket are OK. Try another socket elsewhere in the room.
Secondly if the power supply to the machine is not the issue it could be the mains filter or the control unit (main PCB) ?Re: Zanussi 1220S working intermittently
Thank you. Yes socket is fine. Husband and stepfather had a look at machine inside, can’t see anything blown or distorted in shape etc. Machine is still intermittently lighting up control panel, managed to wash and spin but on trying a second spin of something we handwashed it’s lighting, well flickering, then going off!
