    I have a Zanussi Washer/Dryer model no ZWD1471S and i believe the bearings have gone on it. A washing machine engineer told me that the bearings cannot be replaced on this model but i have since been told by an engineer who came out to my fridge freezer that it is possible to replace them. Can you please enlighten me as to who is right and who is wrong. Many thanks.

    Just to make 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} please post your production number but it looks like they can be replaced.

    Quick way to determine is to see if its a split tub or sealed type. Your(ZWD1471S)has the split type so the bearings can be replaced.

    Thanks for the help guys very much appreciated. Will now try and find someone who’s willing to do the job because i got the impression from the engineer i called out that it was a job that he didn’t particularly want to tackle, hence why he told me it couldnt be done.
