zanussi Aqua Cycle XC 1200 FR1250S

This washing machine stops and bleeps/flashes continuously on the rinse cycle. It can be skipped onto the next cycles but intermitently works on the next ones (spin/drain). I suspect the programmer. However there are 2 boards which may do this function?

A front board containing the lights etc and a rear board which requires configuring ( which I’m guessing will require an engineer) .

Any ideas which board requires replacing and how much it costs to replace the board requiring configurment if it is this one or both?

Have you checked / cleaned the filter? If it is blocked or the pump impeller is jammed, it will fault on rinse and spin. 😉

My tenant cleaned a mop in the washer recently and blocked the filter. He unblocked the filter and had been working ok for the last 3 to 4 weeks . I checked the filter myself and made sure the impellor span yesterday. I’m guessing it may have done the pump in and this may be the fault…

The pump does work intermittently but it always faults after some time into the rinse cycle… 10 mins approx …then when you skip into spin or drain the machine makes a buzzing noise like its waiting for something to happen… I’m guessing this could be the pump not working properly too….Its a lot cheeper than the boards!!!

The waste was blocked at the connection with the sink waste. Just required cleaning out and reconnection. 😀
