Zanussi Aquacycle 1200 FS1255W not draining

Hi.

My washing machine stopped during the draining stage (although no water in drum) and end light flashes twice repeatedly. I opened the coin trap and cleaned out the small amount of fluff (and lots of water) in there. I then put it on another wash but this time it stopped again but with the drum full of water. I tried to empty using the emergency drain hose but no water is coming out of it…

Is this likely to be something trapped under the drum or possibly something more serious?

Or something like a sock stuck in the sump hose possibly but it is unlikely to be any more serious than that.

thanks. I dont fancy opening it all up myself but didnt want to pay someone just to tell me i needed a new machine! I will get someone to extract the sock in that case..
