Zanussi Aquacycle 1200 – we have no hot water supply

due to a faulty boiler. Is it possible to run the machine just using the cold water fill and allowing the washing machine to heat up the water ?

Or does it not work like that ?

As long as there is water supply to the hot inlet valve the machine will take care of it. Other wise a Y piece so that both hoses are connected to the cold water will be required. (see link below)

Ahh.. there’s the rub..

We don’t have any hot water supply at all due to a broken pressure vessel in our boiler.

The instructions do indicate though that if you select the right programme then the machine will only draw water from the cold inlet. This is what we’ve done for now.
