machine washes and reaches spin cycle but will not spin it oscillates clockwise and anticlockwise but will not go into final spin up to 1250rpm

Chip,

I think you may be referring to the FLS1383W ❓

More than likely it is a blocked air bell/air hose problem. Also a close inspection of the motor brushes is advisable 😉

hello martin the motor had new brushes fitted 2 mths ago the hose you mean is no more than 5mm thick and goes up to a circular pressure switch mounted above the drum

Chip,

You will need to remove the rear half panel to fully access the water level system. Clean out the air chambers and their hoses, clean the sump hose and manifold too. That should sort it 😉

top man martin,removed main hose and cleaned out chamber the thing was full of kack and didnt smell to good either used a bent coat hanger now it spins like a good’n cheers
