I always carry in the van Electrue’s CBN9213 and CBN9126 which between them will fit virtually any ceset motor.

Yes, the SEME ones are good. The Electruepart and Homespares ones I’ve bought lately have had a flimsy spade adapter which crumples up as soon as you try to fit it. Quite annoying as I bought 50 sets of Homespares 4165 to get a better price. 😥

Spoilt for choice, thanks all. 🙂
Motor deffo a CESET.
Actually, looking in an old 2002/2003 SEME catalogue the AEG/Gorenje/Whirlpool Part No:481931088529 looks exactly like the one I have in front of me.

The part number you got is correct 481931088529 and will do the job they are £8.99 each but you can buy the same carbons the pair from seme as above

12-ZN-03 is a gen CESET brush – just doesn’t say Zanussi on the tin. The Whirlpool ones are handed the othder way – you can get them as 12-SV-02. Again, gen quality, so they all work properly. Bit dearer, but hey, no problems. Regularly on offer too.
Cheers,

Noted Phil’s comments about the spade connectors. These connectors allow the brush to be used with 2.8mm connections, 4.8mm connections and 6.3mm connections and have been approved by 2 of the world largest appliance manufacturers for use in there service so we know that they don’t present a great deal of problems!!!! Also like to correct that he actually only purchased 25 sets rather than the 50 that he states, but he did get them for a very good price. A lot more competitively than some other suppliers already mentioned.
If anybody would like a sample then please email sales@homespare.com
This offer is only open till Friday and is limited to one set per customer.
As well as this offer, I would also like to point out that Hoover Performa Carbons, Part number 9859 are currently on offer at £4.25 a pair! Check them out on the website!

Sorry Lofthouse, you are right, it was only 25 sets but I still paid more than the Seme price. I had been buying these carbons from Homespares for some time and this was the first lot with the spade adapter. I’ve never come across Ceset motors with anything other than 4.8mm spades but such an adapter would be useful for the Zem / Sole carbons.

This ceset motor has the small spade terminals, the Qualtex CAR69 is also a match.
