There’s a leak in my drain hose and I want to change it – its in a continuous piece right up the the pump which is at the front of the machine. Is it likely to be possible to remove the front panel to get at this, or do I lie the machine on its back to access from underneath?
If you’d have given us the model number (as there are hundreds of different models) we could be better informed but I would suggest likely as not the latter being the best approach. 😉
Its a ZWF 1227W. It seems unlikely that the way to get at the hose/pump connection is to reach through from the back which would be very awkward unless I send in a small child
Easiest way to access is through the back. Unplug first. It helps if you tip the machine slightly, so that you have some light and a better angle to work at.
It’s possible to remove the front but it’s a pain to do, much better to persevere. If you don’t have proper corbin pliers to remove the clip, some bent-nosed pliers or failing that mole grips will be invaluable.
