hi guys strange one this when customer turns grill on works fine .. but when turns it off .. it trips electrics ? any ideas am thinking the selector switch ,, but someone says it might be the element ? mmm ,,:rolleyes:

still more likely an element but don’t assume its the grill

scenario is possibly as the switch turns off the neutral disconnects first leaving the neutral side of the element live for enough time to blow the trip

or it could be the lower element that seldom gets used if its a double oven

mmmm difficult one .. as you say .. as you turn it off ,, you have to turn back through the other settings ,,so what do you think it is mate ?wonder if a should tell customer, to try the top oven and see what happens ?

cant do any harm to try anything but in the end the chances are you will have to run it with the back off and switch off and look for earth leaks
