Zanussi cooker child lock

zanussi cooker ZCI68300X 948904053.
Customer has learning dificulties and carers have to switch the cooker off when not in use. but when its switched on the induction
hob automatically goes into child lock. it is reluctant to go off child lock and sometimes child lock goes on in middle of cooking.
its a strange set up as hob uses knob controls but child lock panel is touch control.
Any ideas welcomed
