Zanussi DC 970 stops cycle early & no fill

Hi There
I needed to change a leaking inlet hose on my Dishwasher. So I switched off the water while I awaited a new hose. In the meanwhile I attempted a wash without switching the water back on (doh…)It stopped before the fill stage. I have now replaced the hose but it still stops before the fill stage, I know it is all my own silly fault but is this an expert repair job or have I just caused an autostop function to click on that I can clear myself. The machine is about 7 yrs old I believe.
Help gratefully appreciated.

when the machine stops can you hear a buzzing noise coming from the inlet valve?? if so poss valve has locked off
