Zanussi DE 4744 won’t stop

Hello

I have a Zanussi DE 4744. I set it off this morning at 8am on a normal wash. Upon returning home at 5pm it’s still running and is still on the first green light of the signal.

I’ve stopped it and there is water still in the bottom (hot & soapy) and the dishes appear clean. When I start it again it continues happily and makes all the right washing noises.

Still the cycle never seems to end, each time I switch it on it just continues endlessly and the water at the bottom (2 inches) will not drain.

Any advise?
