    Hi All,

Hope someone can help me. I have the above DE4554 slimline dishwasher, which seems like it will start then does not. The wash programme indicator, dry indicator and end indicator are all flashing, and this is not described in the manual.

Had the thing in bits last night, no blockages to any hoses, water goes in and will drain at the start of any programme. The flood switch is working correctly (checked with a meter).

This problem happens on all wash programmes. It did go through a cycle yesterday, but seemed really noisy.

Any help much appreciated, i am pulling my hair out with this one.

    Thanks

Thank for that, assume you mean the big pump in the bottom on the metal plate? It was only really noisy yesterday whilst it was running, the problem has occurred before but always sorted itself, perhaps there has been a build up of stuff in there what do you think?

Also do you know if this pump has replaceable brushes?

OK so i took it apart again today, removed the pump, not blocked but seized up, freed it up with WD40 and a bit of elbow grease, don’t know how long it will last, new pump is £125.00 new dishwasher from Comet is £160 so when it dies again new one it is.
