Zanussi DE6744 dishwasher control module

Hi, my second post today as a relative newcomer.
Can anyone offer any tips on a Zanussi DE6744 dishwasher (3 years old, electronic control).

I changed the control module today as none of the panel lights showed (other than the separate power neon) and the machine appeared dead. However, the new board does exactly the same. I’ve checked continuity through the on/off switch and door microswitch and they’re both OK. I can’t see anything obvious in wiring diagram that would cause this fault. Any ideas on this, please, or am I just unlucky with two board failures?

Have you got the PNC stratfordgirl ?

Lux list over 20 versions of this model, it may be the wrong PCB has been ordered and fitted ? Pop up the part number you have and I can check 😉

I had an on/off switch go on one of these recently.
Try bridging it and the door switch just briefly to check. Often things are intermittent and don’t show until checked repeatedly. Bridging a switch with a joining wire with two small croc clips eliminates it good an’ proper. Requires care of course. 😯

PNC 911888011, part no 1525785133 – I’m sure that’s right, as it’s from the Distriparts DVD. Thanks for the tips, I’ll certainly trace through the circuit continuity against the wiring diagram and double check the on/off switch as you suggest. I’ll post the outcome when I’ve solved it.

Thanks for the input. I managed to solve it quickly on my next visit – having noticed a caution in the service manual about putting the two-pin power connector on the board the right way round. It’s the only connector that’s not keyed (although confusingly the board enclosure has keying slots) and I had put it on the wrong way round. Won’t make that mistage again!
