ParticipantMy machine occasionally keeps on running endlessly! No matter what programme is selected.
Have moved machine onto blocks so i can get under it when its working. Problem still is that it doesn’t always heat the water and programme runs endersley.
Heater shows 24ohms across coil signifying its okay. I have strapped a multimeter to the coil to watch the voltage. I’m running a 70c programme which starts with a hot pre wash so i know that in the first few minutes the water should be hot. On the first 5 times of running 70c my multimeter goes to 220v a.c signifying applied voltage to heater. When i feel the front door i can feel its warm. On opening the door in cycle i can see that its warm inside and the water is hot. So working okay. I have ended the cycle and restarted all good so far……
Now on the sixth time the water isn’t getting hot and my meter doesn’t read any voltage on the coil….
Dont think its the heater as i said before is all good and something else is causing the problem. The matrix chamber thing all looks clean to me and pipes etc. If anything there is the occasional black smudge in the pipes but you can see that this is just a smear on the pipe nothing that would cause a blockage.
Also checked the pressure switch item # 911888011/01
it has a short across it. have removed the connectors from it and the machine starts initally then stops with the programme light flashing. thus assume it should have a short on it. Reconnected and machine working again but not doing the obvious heating still.Any help appreciated with this.

Relay or solder breakdown on the pcb, almost certainly.

Many thanks for your reply.
i was starting to think it would be the pcb. Is this the main board and i assume its in the door behind the buttons somewhere? Do you happen to know where it is located.
Also do you know if there is a techs manual or wiring diagram for these machines.
best regards and seasons greetings to you and yours…
