ZANUSSI DE6744s Program Lock

Problem resolution required, machine has stopped part way through a program (at the drying phase on the 70° SID program) holding the button to cancel the program does not work. I have shut machine off and unplugged it but there is still no change, the machine had originally not started its program but burst in to life later (not due to 3 6 or 9 hour delay selection).

The machine has been dismantled with the exception of turning it on its back to examine the underside pipe work or removing the IWMS moulding, as this is the extreme measure that I would prefer to avoid.

If anyone can offer the advice I would appreciate it. The message posts have been evaluated and although some of them did through some light I have not found the answer.

Did it stop “dead”, or did you get flashing LEDs?

Stpped dead with no flashing led, unless cabinet door is open.

Door switch would leave power light on. Sounds more like power supply on computer board has died, or some board related failure.

Power off if investigating.

I feared that 🙁 as this is not the first time it has happened, previously though the machine recovered itself after just being left alone.

Any idea on the cost of a replacement? or what I need to search for one from here?

Board is p/no 1525785-13/3 – about £83 plus VAT & P+P. You can order through spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk quoting the part number.

Due to the expense, be very sure that this is what is actually required…… Time for some pro help, perhaps?
