Zanussi DE6854

I have had a Zanussi DE6854 for a bit more than a year. It stopped working (wouldn’t heat up, wouldn’t dry, all the lights flashing about 20 minutes into the cycle). A man came round and said it’s the printed circuit board. That was the day before New Years Eve. Since then he keeps saying he’s waiting for the part and so on. Now another engineer tells me it’s not just a case of getting the part, it will need software updating. This is getting mad – can someone please tell me if I’m better off just getting a new dishwasher?

For accuracy identifying the part, can you check the product code (PNC) from the rating plate around the door.

There are several versions of this model, the number required begins 911????
