    Hello Folks

Had the problem of the burnt relay on the PCB, so i replaced the relay. When I refitted the PCB. When I switched on the mains light came on but nothing happened when I tried to select a wash cycle – the PCB unit showed no signs of life – lights did not illuminate. Thought I had blown the PCB when fitting new relay so purchased new PCB (3 week wait!). Guess what same fault, mains light on -nothing happens when selecting a wash cycle. 👿

Could choose a wash cycle OK with original PCB before i removed it. The electric cableing is wired up correctly i think – a1 to a1, b1 to b1 etc and all the others are tabbed to fit one place only
I have power to the PCB via Blue cable labeled A1. Is there an internal fuse I could have blown some how ❓

Has anybody any ideas or come across this before ❓

    Thank you

Is it possible to fit that A1 plug (2- pin, yes?) back to front?

    Hi
Yes that is what I found out eventualy. The marking on the plastic case is mis-leading. The wire marked 1 does NOT line up with the 1 on the plastic case it is the wrong way round. 😕

    Re: Zanussi DE6854

    Hi,

My Zanussi DE6854 (4 years old) is not heating water. I read the posts and checked the PCB – it looks OK, so hopefully it is the heater (at least this is cheaper!). Is there a check I can do before parting with the readdies ❓ (I have enought ‘spare’ parts in the garage ❗ ).

Another question, I think I have the PCB edge connectors on the right way round (I meant to take a photo first 😳 ). Can anyone tell me if the the B connctor should have the wires emerging away from me (like A) or towards me (like the rest of the wires). It only seems to fit propperly in the second position (without brute force).

    Thanks

    Spara
