Zanussi DE6965 Dishwasher Pump

Hi All,

After replaceing the inlet valve on this dishwasher everything has run smothely until now!!!
When the dishwasher is washing the pump seems to be making a wineing noise, it also seems very sluggish and slow, cleans things ok but i have a feeling its going to pack up soon 🙁

Do i need to get a new pump or can i replace the brushes on the motor which might be causing the problem, or shall i just ditch it 😥

There’s a couple of versions of this model but assuming it’s the earlier version with the “dual action” pump then it sounds like it, circa £95 inc VAT and delivery.

It is possible to strip them and replace the impellor kit at a much lower cost (£25 ish), sometimes this resolves the problem.
