zanussi dead

help please.

Zan WM FS1555W
914791191/00

turn to any program.
press start.
door interlock and door light activate.
green “washing ” LED lights up.
machine pumps out for about 1 second then dead,nothing.

solenoids OK, P/S seems OK.
no cable damage i can see.
can any one point me in the right direction?

try your carbon brushes on motor.

they seem nearly new,i only took one off though, i’ll go and check the other one but i would be supprised if it’s that,the machine isn’t that old and only used 3 times a week.

I have had a similar problem with A Bendix machine, I think you may have to put the machine into the diagnostic mode as the machine may have faulted itself out.

I think it does a self test at the start of any program and if anything is wrong it does not continue but faults out.

I may be wrong but its worth a try.
