Zanussi DES 959 AL6

Hope someone can help me! I keep getting AL6 error on my dishwasher! Hubbie has checked all the pipes, its all clear The AL6 according to the manual says it’s not draining. We put water in it, and it does drain!

Help, I’ve got 2 kids who eat like horses and we simply don’t do hand washing of the dishes! ;o)

AL6 is certainly a no drain problem and as you’ve proved the pump is working it’s probably related to a blocked IWMS unit.

Not a job for the feint hearted to be honest, check Repairs@ for an engineer should you need one.

If you (or hubby) is going to have a go at this, power off :zap: of course.

A forum search for “IWMS” should prove usefull as well 😉

Hiya Dave Thanks for that. Dont think hubbie is up for that kind of job… although he is well insured! 😆 Sods law had we taken out the additional insurance (where does it end!) we would not have had this problem.. so i guess maybe a new dishwasher is on the card for my birthday AGAIN! 😆 I dont really want to get an engineer out (and there are none in my area according to the link you gave me – so must be fate!)
It’s either that or make the kids slave harder… hmmmm nice thought!
