Hi, the machine stops at random times and flashes up AL5 – Lack of water. The drain is clear, the water supply is OK and changing the inlet valve hasn’t helped. Any ideas please?

Not actually all that expensive. P/no is 1524238-62/1 – about £55 from memory. An email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will get things moving for you.

    hi,
thanks for all the help – wish i’d asked before buying and fitting the inlet valve.
managed to clean out the 2 pipes, the non-flexi one was fairly choked – and hosed most of the matrix which wasn’t that bad. 1 lesson learned – don’t let any salmon skin near the machine!!
    it’s working perfectly again, thanks.

You didn’t broach a salmon in the dishwasher and forget to wrap it in foil first, did you?

Haven’t had to sort the mess out from that one for a good few years now 😀

i think my wife – who got the blame of course -hasn’t been rinsing the baking trays properly after burning the salmon. she has been suitably reprimanded and – mebbe – won’t do it again.
it’s either that or we all become vegetarians.
