Zanussi Dishwasher

on/off switch shot it, my supplier tells me that the switch is incorporated
in progammer PCB and not a seperate item.( i have not looked at internal part of appliance,just held in switch to establish fault)

selling retail at £118.00 plus vat for PCB board

is there a better/cheaper repair to the switch, say something from MAPLINS or RC componetents.

or are we once again paying for an expensive part which is badly designed

if its just a miniature latching switch on the board then cpc will definately have something to solder in its place. i regularly solder in miniature tactile switches but they don’t latch. take it out and have a look.

cornflakes did you manage to get the sw for this d/w.have to replace relay on one that has sw stuck in on position. i know theres allways the socket to turn it off but while its out may as well do it.do you have a part no.regards paul
