hi what would be wrong with a dishwasher when you open the door it would not stop and then it developed another problum now it will not bring in any water i checked that there is water getting to the valve ok checked valve filter ok checked valve resistance on the x1 skale and x10 skale very little movement but on the 1k skale reading is detween 3 and 5k and even with a resistane reading could the valve still be faulty checked that there is power getting to the valve connections ok the problum is even that the washer is not brining in any water the washer pump keeps running the minute you switch the washer on the dishwasher is a fully intergrated one and the model no is zdt6894 thanks.

Doesn’t stop when door is opened – door switch/latch problem.
No fill, but reading across valve terminals – probably flood protection operated due to choked water fill matrix – do a search on “Zanussi IWMS” – countless posts.

whats probably happening is its registered an over fill and drain pump has continued while door is open and it wont allow it to refill now a little out of date an zan d/w now but syphon tubes were a major problem

hi thanks for the reply does the flood protection not only work if there was a leak or the dishwasher over filled and would bring in the pump to clear the the over fill and what do you mean by a choked water fill matrix and where do i find it and where do i find zaunissi iwms thanks penguin 45. fase tester

hi thanks for your reply do you mean the pressure switch is blocked and where do you find the syphon tubes the problum would have nothing to do with the electronics or the control panell need resetting thanks lotusray. fase tester 😕
