Hi got a problem with this 2-3 year old dishwasher. prod number 91153910701.
Have had a look for answer but this machine is overfilling rather than not filling at all.Think it could be p/swt but suspect/guessing it might well be pcboard…lets hope not!
So this is the problem: set the machine on any programme and the o/let pump comes on then the machine fills, it is obvious that it is o/filling BUT the water does cut off which has thrown me as to whether it`s the p/swt or something else up the creek, the motor won`t kick in, then the dishwasher goes beep beep. Motor reads through ok, inbuilt heater ok too. So the question is do you think it is the p/swt which is the inverse of other posts on this site where their machines are not actually filling at all? Any ideas anyone? Thanks

    Pressure switch mod kit required.

The reason it cuts out is that if it doesn’t get a reading from the pressure switch telling it it is filling within 90 seconds of switching the valve on it aborts and empties.

    Thanks Bazza.
Update. Spot on and mucho thanks, the kit cured the problem. What happens is the original p/swt gets blocked up internally with food sludge with the mod kit you get an air trap, new p/swt and rubbery bits which long`ish term should cure the problem, easy to fit as well although I can`t see many of the Joe public doing it themselves. The modification kit is circ 25 quid- so once again because Electrolux/Zanussi/AEG screwed up as a customer your expected to foot the bill…hath the trade got total contempt? Or is it just me being cynical?
