Basic mistake, customer has removed his door lock to replace it.He can’t remember how the leads go back on. He is a 3hr drive away so i don’t fancy going all that way.Any ideas so that i can phone him?I have not had to change one yet so i can’t really tell him

    Simples…

If made after 1990 will have a dedicated Multi-Plug. If before, 3 leads and they will be marked to correspond with the letters on the old black door lock.

Not neccessarily. Some of the spanish types have 3 individual wires but are quite recently produced. If it is a 3 or 4 wire plug then there is no problem.

Grey wire to terminal 3 on door lock, orange wire to terminal 1, black wire to terminal C2.

    Thought it might be Espanol.
