Zanussi door seal replacement

don’t laugh, Ive been in the trade a long time but only on one brand(miele)
but now we have moved to a new area and I am now self employed repairing
anything that comes up.
so, Im changing the door seal on a zanussi FLE1416/w and its taken me ages!
is there an easy way to do this in future? I had to lubricate the seal lip
to get it into position, and then had more trouble getting the retaining
spring into place.

Oh dear. Personally, I love them. Open the wardrobe door and there it all is. Pity about the prices 😀 . Oh, and all the edges are blunt. Can it get any better?

Wouldn’t mind finding out what some of these flashing light codes mean. There’s only so much you can work out from logic.
