Tried it without clothes but set to a timed dry period. As the customer stated the dryer stopped completely after about five or six minutes. Switched off and then switched back on within a few seconds and it started to run once again, tumbling and heating correctly so don’t think it could be motor overload related.

Tried to run diagnostics but got a strange ‘non error code’

The start button is flashing between red & green with virtually no pause, just red/green , red/green continuously.

    Condenser etc all clear.

    Any thoughts?

Heater goes out on them sometimes if dryer is used constant without cool down period. NTC needs to cool down.
Check rear felt bearing/seal, if its off or distorted air from fan is not directed over heater and again heater goes out, open circuit but this normally throws up a fault E62

Thanks Seamy, machine is in a garage and AFAIK they don’t stop it mid cycle.

Any reason why the diagnostics wouldn’t run correctly, it just flashes red/green continuously without a pause???

Diagnostics may not run correctly if it has not been selected correctly, corrupt board, short circuit of component etc
