    Hi

Several years old now, this machine is ripping clothes almost every wash now. The drum has about 7mm play in it, so it’s hanging away from the front of the machine, creating a large gap. I can pull it up manually, then the gap transfers to the top of the drum …
Is this something that can be fixed, and is it worth the likely cost?

    Thanks

probably just wants a front seal… not a bad job, but takes time

    Same dryer same problem.
    No front drum felt.
Should there be anything else supporting the drum? There are no front drum bearings or drum supports either but should there be?
    Thankyou
