Zanussi DW 70M Mesh filter

Hi, have had this dishwasher for years and still works perfectly. The outer mesh filter has worn out and I have been lookng at websites to try and find one. But they dont look the same as mine and DW 70M doesnt come up as a model. Mine has a sort of protuding handle on the top which you use to hoick it out of the filter drain housing on the dishwasher floor, the new ones dont seem to have that so I am not sure how you would release it from the drain housing.

Can anyone help with where I can get a replacement or offer advice on a compatible part? Many thanks.

Hi Martin,

The original part was replaced by part number 5022 36 79-00/7 which is, surprisingly, still available and is in stock. The only trouble is that I don’t have a photo of it and the price, £41.13 plus VAT and shipping.

It is item 537 on the diagram I’ve just emailed to you, the large round filter.
