    Hi,

This is the first time I’ve come across the above model which needs replacement door hinges/springs. I’d be grateful if anyone has some helpful hints on the best way to go about the job. Thanks in advance.

Open the door & remove the 2 cabinet/hinge screws at each bottom corner, remove outer door panel, the hinges are fixed to the door by 2 screws on each side of the door so just unscrew them.

Now either tilt the machine back or lay it down, remove the plinth screws and take off the plinth, cut the cable tie securing the horseshoe shaped sump pipe to the metal front frame and remove the remaing screws that secure the front frame to the cabinet, you also need to unclip the pressure switch and the front frame will now pull off. Now remove the remaining hinge screws – the hinges should now wriggle free.

IIRC the springs come as part of the hinge assembly, the new hinges will be locked in position to make it easier to fit to the door panel so dont remove the little metal stops until youve secured the door to the new hinges.

    Hope this helps.
