Hello. Been a bad week with white goods in my house now the bloody dishwasher has gone kaput :bang:

Got 2 error codes, A3 and A6. Pretty sure it points to the pump. It’s trying to pump out but making a terrible racket and no water is moving. There is a very small amount of water making it to the spray arms when trying to clean.

Just wondering if anyone know if this particular pump (assuming it’s that that’s blocked) can be unblocked and more importantly how is it accessed.

    Any help is much appreciated.

    Linda..

    A3 is heater fault

    A6 water drain fault

had a lot of problems with these units pumping out. there is only 1 motor and the pump is one of a number of impellors on the motor shaft. when they fail you will find all the blades broken off

you can buy the kit to replace and cost is not too bad

    Thanks for the reply Dave.

2 more questions. How do you get to the impellers and do by any chance know the cost of the kit?

    Thanks again. Linda.

    gen part no 152 18 11-11 / 5

but cant find it so may be discontinued

    but
    https://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/5027351 … peller-kit

this kit is off a different model. as far as I know it should work but cant 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} promise.
the impellor that fails is front row 2nd from left and as far as I know these are all the same so you could just swop that 1 impellor

a word of warning take care you know how it goes back together when you take it apart as its a bit of a krypton factor if you don’t take care
