Zanussi DWS 939 – not filling with water

Hello.

My Zanussi dishwasher – [Prod number: 911883002] will not fill with water when switched on.
I have checked the filters within the machine,
the inlet hose is clear and unkinked,
the filter where the inlet hose connects to the machine is clear,
and the machine discharge pump has been proved to work.

I was toying with the idea that the water inlet valve might need replacing, am I on the right track or should I be looking elsewhere.

How old is the appliance. To be honest you would be better calling in Service Force as there are a number of issues that can cause this problem relating to a blockage in the Intergrated Water Management System on the left hand side of the appliance.

I would probably look elsewhere. Sounds like the anti flood has operated, often this is due to blockages in the air break/water softner chamber in one of the side panels. This is a complex device with many modified parts to cure this problem. Would recommend expert help really.
