Zanussi DX6453 – Flashing End Light

Hi,

I have a Zanussi DX6453 which has just packed up, the cycle run for a few minutes and then stops. The END light blinks 6 times and then repeats!!! Any suggestions welcome as my manual only covers up to 3 flashes…!!

Hi Andy, I thought these machines only flashed up 5 fault code flashes to the user. If it is 5, then it may mean the motor triac is short circuit and a new board may be required.

Just double-checked, definately 6 flashes!!! Pause, then 6 flashes etc etc…

I suspect I’ll be on the ‘phone tommorrow!

As Martin says, only flash codes one to five should be displayed to the user, the others are only accessable via the diagnostic cycle.

Six flashes is a heat time out error, I think the phone call is inevitable 😉

You could try repairs@ and the directories for a UKW member near you as well.
