Zanussi E90 Error Code

I keep being asked about intermittent E90 fault code on the Big Yellow Button zanussi electronic machines. Never seen it happen yet but was told it could be a software or loom fault. Any ideas ❓

As far as I remember (need to read the manual again), E90 displayed to the customer may not be the error code shown in diagnostics. You need to run the diagnostics and read the last error code to find out what’s wrong.

Sorry I moved these two as I was trying to keep the “known error codes” thread to just that, otherwise it gets a little choked with other stuff.

Anyway E90 shown to the cusomer is either “real” error code E93 or E94 both of which are config errors with the main/display pcb’s.

Thanks gents,
Sounds like it could be another expensive repair if the boards need to be replaced or can they be re configured 😕 . I’ve advised the customer to contact the local Service Force. One board too many today.That was the sixth. 😥

when you say a comms problem with the pcbs do you have to change and cofigure 2

Sometimes reconfiguring the pcb will do the trick, other times the main pcb will need replacing, which means configuring that one afterwards. I’ve never replaced the user pcb on any of these, but I’m sure some have failed.

i have two of these to do. got the boards, read the ser info,got the codes am i thick or is there instructions in plain english or welsh any help would be appreciated thanks
