Zanussi Electrolux 1500 Aquacycle 5Kg Problem

Hi there, the belt came off the machine today but I put it back on without too much trouble. However now when I turn the machine on nothing happens for around 5-7 seconds, then all the lights flash together and the machine beeps. This continues constantly until I power the machine off. None of the buttons have any effect.

The belt coming off would suggest either drum bearing wear causing the pulley to ” wobble” throwing off the belt or alternativly the main pcb has developed a fault causing the motor to surge and slip off the belt due to the fact your pcb seems to now be in error mode it would suggest this is more likely . On this occasion I would recommend you call an engineer to have a look and access the machines on board diagnostic in order to narrow down the fault, it might cost you a min charge call out but save you a lot of heartache in the long run…. sorry its not an easy one….
