Zanussi electrolux Z99 fridge not cool enough

I’ve got a Z99/3w fridge/freezer its only 18 months old and the fidge will not go below 10.c when turned up full , I’ve cleaned the underneath of the fridge and had a look at the compressor it seems to be running the frezzer is working fine any Ideas I. I phoned an engineer and he just said the motors gone get a new fridge 😳 Iv’e just switched off for a while and then turned back on and the pipe coming out of the compressor got a coating of frost for about 2 minutes but the cooled a lot and is just cold now

You shouldnt really have frost down at the compressor and this would indicate a blockage in the system of some sort. Would suggest professional help. Doesnt always suggest a seriously expensive problem and its almost certainly not he compressor at fault as someone suggested.

😆 All Fine now I phoned a couple of places and one suggested a manual defrost so I emptied it and 😆 left unplugged for 24 hours and its running fine now 😆
