    Hi all

    I would be grateful if someone could shed some light on this issue.

    Our washer dryer did a couple of rounds of washing today and after the second one it did a ten minute spin and sat for around ten minutes. We then had a power outage and our downstairs plugholes were disabled on the main board. I stuck it back on and our washer dryer is now not working.

    When I turn the dial to any setting it just clicks every second. The display shows nothing and the clicking appears to be coming from the right side. If you were looking over it with the roof off, it’d be whatever is located in the bottom right.

    I’ve checked the fuse but can’t see if it’s broken but can’t hear any rattling when I shake it. Will be grateful for any ideas or fixes..

    On the assumption you have good electrical knowledge now would be a good time to check the heater and the motor as your next move. Power off don’t forget. :zap:

    Unfortunately my electrical knowledge is almost entirely non existent. What sort of checks can I do. Visually I’m not sure what I’m looking at really but it looks all okay to me, everything plugged in and connected properly…

    Call in a local expert to fix it for you is my advice.

    I have no idea what your perception of how much the cost would be by using a local expert, but you may be pleasantly surprised. If you check out the recommended experts using the engineer search facility at least you can contact them and ask the question. 💡
