ModeratorI have never really liked the drum type of top loader, even way back to the old Philips one with the variator pulley. 😥
This customer had a trusty 30 year old Hotpoint TL that expired last week. She asked me to install this Zanussi thing for her, never even seen one before.
Instead of having the installation instructions in the user manual or a separate leaflet, Zanussi have them printed onto a thin plastic sheet that covers the lid. :rolls:
Unfortunately the delivery driver has ripped this off along with all the other packaging.
I managed to salvage it from the bin but it is not easy to decipher.
I can only see one transit bolt towards the top at the back, are there any more.
Manual advises doing a wash without clothes in first, customer has just rung to say that the machine has jumped about six inches on this wash when in the rinse/spin cycle.
I am surprised to hear this given that there are no clothes in the machine, any suggestions. 😕 😕 😕

Thats the manual I saw today, if you read it, it says remove all transit bolts, but there is no diagram in the manual to ID the bolt or bolts, only this stupid plastic sheet stuck over the lid which the delivery driver has ripped off.
Looking at the remains of the sheet I can only see a picture of the one bolt that I have already removed.Still cannot understand why it jumped about without any load in it. 😕

😳 😳 😳
It has been a hard day, still trying to catch up after the holidays, TBH I looked all through the manual the customer had and I don’t remember seeing that page.
Cheers Chris, have a pint on me tonight. 8)
