Zanussi washing machine. We replaced the timer in December 2014 because it didn’t spin correctly. It worked perfectly OK until January. Now the timer sticks on the final rinse full of water. Move the timer one click and it drains and spins. Also when it sticks if you switch the machine off then on, using the on/off button, the time starts and drains and spins.
Faulty timer??

have you still got the old timer ?

if so swop it back and see what happens

Does it only do this on programs H to N? If so then there is nothing wrong with the machine,See page 15 of the user manual.

Sticks on last rinse on ‘F’. No rinse hold on that program.

It stops full of water, no motor action as if it is on a rinse hold program.

Don’t have the old timer. Will have to bite the bullet and fit a new one.

pity i think i know what was wrong with the old one but this one is too new for that fault

Update: The timer fitted in December was faulty. Replaced timer. Happy days
